Occasionally something may go wrong with your iPhone which means you cannot access your data any longer. If you have backed up your iPhone to your computer at anytime you can restore your tracks from an iTunes backup from your computer. You need access to your computer and download the following:
We suggest exiting all other application while doing this (including iTunes) as it can take a few minutes for iBackupbot to scan all backups.
You should see a screen like the one above, it might take a little time while it builds the information. If you see any errors come up just ignore them and let the process continue.
Eventually you will be presented with a list of backups for your device(s) and with different dates, the best way to do this is start with the most recent likely backup. Now select the link that says ### Apps, ##### Data Files... (shown in red box).
You will now see a list of items that can be restore - now scroll down the list until you find com.corecoders.SkiTracks.
Select it and press the Export button.
Then you will need to select a place to save all the Ski Tracks data - such as your Desktop.
Once you have completed this then you will need to compress this data into a single zip file and email it to:
firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “PLEASE RESTORE”
We will then convert this data into track.skiz files that can be imported into your Ski Tracks application by using iTunes App File Sharing feature.
We will send instructions to you when we send the .skiz files to you.
