The process to create a back from Ski Tracks to you your laptop requires to following procedure.
1. Open Ski Tracks and select the Backup Tool.
2. Move the backup to your Laptop using Airdrop, Finder or iTunes depending on your laptop.
Creating a Backup
Your recordings are stored securely on your device. Use the backup tool create a folder or .skiz files that contain all your recordings.
1. Open Ski Tracks
2. Select Settings > Tools > Backup
3. Press the Backup All Button (see screenshot)
This will create a Backup folder that can be accessed via the standard Files app by going to On My iPhone > Ski Tracks
Copy Backup Folder to Mac
You have three options.
1. Use the Files app to airdrop the Backup folder to your Mac.
2. Physically connect the iPhone to your Mac and use Finder.
3. Physically connect the iPhone to your Mac and use iTunes (Older Macs only)
Copy Backup Folder to PC
1. Physically connect the iPhone to your PC and use iTunes.
Using Finder (New Macs)
1. Using a cable connect your iPhone to your Mac.
2. Open Finder and Select your phone in the side panel. (see below)
3. Open Files > Select Ski Tracks and Drag the Backup folder to your computer.
Using iTunes (Old Macs & PC's)
1. Using a cable connect your iPhone to your Mac or PC.
2. Open iTunes
3. Select the iPhone icon in the bar (see screenshot below)
3. Select File Sharing
4. Select Ski Tracks and Drag the Backup Folder to your computer.
